Pivot
We had been thinking.
Even in the early days, one of the first things that came to our mind to maximize user experience (UX) in MakerMind App was to add the Command Line feature, like how Linux professionals do things in the terminal window to achieve their maximum productivity or a medical doctor writing the diagnosis and prescription quickly with the short codes and the acronyms. In MakerMind, it will be a product manager or a team member writing a short command to update the priority value of a task or to update the status. We want our users to be effective, yet less busy. We don’t want our users to walk through the layers of UI again and again just to update the status of a task.
We had been planning.
So, we started developing the foundational features and functions into MakerMind App and put the basic UI called Updates. It is the status updates screen, similar to a social media timeline, but strictly focuses on work and progress, and an Update Box at the bottom of the screen, where the magic will happen. With a few shortcuts and buttons together in the future, our user will be commanding and orchestrating the whole system from one console. But…

Now, we pivot.
2024 is our lucky year. LLM-based app frameworks are everywhere and getting better every day. It’s a good time to make every software application AI-powered. AI is like the internet or cloud servers in their early days now. It is the new infrastructure and technology that enables everyone to communicate with computers not only by pointing, clicking, and tapping but also by talking.
Meaning instructing and commanding.
That is a technology which has never been this big and powerful since mobile and cloud. So we dropped our old plans. We decided to close every work-in-progress. And, we pivot.
We are developing how MakerMind App to be centered around AI tech, how to put the AI in the core, and how our users can make commands and instructions as their primary way of interacting with the system for effective product management.
We are developing the MakerMind Assistant - the intelligent assistant for dedicated product management.
Stay Tuned… let us deliver.
